For the first time ever, Eurostep will be running a 3x3 league that will span the month of August. The goal is to give athletes an opportunity to play competitive basketball (with referees) but with the freedom to explore and work on their own game the way they see fit.

3x3 is a great way for athletes to work on all facets of their game in a competitive environment. Being a half-court game means more touches and less time spent running up and down. And without set plays, players have to learn to read and react to the game.

LEAGUE INFO

The league will take place in the month of August, when most other team summer leagues are done. This league is a bridge between the summer season and the fall/winter league.

DATES - August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th (the first 4 weekends are regular season and August 29th are the playoffs).

DIVISIONS - U11/12, U13, U14, U15, U16

DAILY SCHEDULE - Teams will play 4 or 5 games per competition day. Each game is 12 minutes running time with 6 minutes of rest between games. Each team also has one or two byes per competition day, allowing for ample rest.

SEASON RANKINGS - We will be keeping track of all of the results from each game and will have a league ranking system in place.

GAMES - Each game will have two officials per court and will follow FIBA 3x3 rules (with a few exceptions). Full game rules will be sent to each team a few weeks before the start of the season.

TEAMS - Each team is required to have 4 or 5 players. Teams with three will not be allowed to compete due to the risk of forfeits if players are missing or injured.

TEAM FEE - The fee for the team will be $875 for the season or $220 per athlete. Registrations can be paid on our website or via e-transfer. The fee will cover the following:

18 regular season games + playoffs

Reversible jersey

Trophies and awards

League infrastructure (gym time, referees, scorekeepers)

DIVISIONS - We will be capping each age division at 8 teams.

The exact schedule will be confirmed a few weeks before the start of the league, but currently the schedule for the league will be as follows:

U11/U12 (2014/15) - 9AM to 11AM

U13 (2013) - 11AM to 1PM

U16 (2010) - 1PM to 3PM

U15 (2011) - 3PM to 5PM

U14 (2012)- 5PM to 7PM

If players are registering as individuals, we will wait until we have 4-5 players of the same age and then automatically put them on a team together.
