This is a huge opportunity for young athletes to gain access to a vast fountain of basketball knowledge that coach Justin Serresse possesses. Coach Justin has experience as both a high-performing player in Europe as well as also coaching internationally. This set of experiences gives him the unique ability to blend the two worlds when teaching and interacting with athletes. 

COACH SERRESSE BACKGROUND

Justin was born and raised in France to parents with roots in Algeria and Cameroon. At 17, he signed with a professional team in France, training alongside pros. But everything shifted when he tore his ACL early on. In 2006, he decided to start over and move to Canada, earning a Sport Management degree at Laurentian University while playing two seasons (2008-2010) in the CIS. After finishing playing, Justin turned towards coaching. Over the next 15 years, he would have incredible success as a coach in Canada.

4H WORKSHOP

The 4H workshop is a split between on-court work to grow the young athlete's skill set and also spending some time in the classroom sharpening the mind. The classroom portion is dedicated to understanding the balance between the following pillars:

Happy – Finding joy and gratitude in everyday life

Healthy – Prioritizing wellness, rest, and positive habits

Hungry – Embracing purpose, growth, and internal drive

Humble – Staying grounded, serving others, and reflecting

The workshop is split evenly between the on-court training as well as the off court poriton. 

LOGISTICS

Location - 55 Horner Ave. Toronto, ON M8Z 4X6

Workshop length - All three of the workshops are three hours in length (6PM to 9PM). The workshops will all have the same content so athletes can choose which of the three dates work best. 

Age Groups - This clinic is for athletes who are U12 to U15.
